Rare Italian Luxury Cars for Sale near Sudbury, MA

There is Italian, and then there is rare Italian. Anyone can find a well-used entry-level exotic with a patchy history and a story attached. What is genuinely difficult to find — especially in New England, especially without a trip to a big-city exotic broker — is the properly specified, properly documented, unusual Italian machine: the four-seat V12 Ferrari, the track-bred Lamborghini in a color the factory only built a handful of times. For buyers near Sudbury, that search has a surprisingly local answer, about fifteen minutes up the road in Acton.

Acton Auto Boutique, at 429 Great Rd, is an enthusiast-owned independent dealership with a standing appetite for exactly this kind of inventory. The team buys and sells well-optioned, occasionally rare vehicles because they genuinely enjoy them, and the Italian cars that pass through the showroom reflect that taste. The current stock makes the point better than any description could: a Lamborghini Urus Performante, a Ferrari GTC4Lusso, and a Ferrari FF — three of the most distinctive Italian vehicles of the modern era, gathered in one MetroWest showroom.

Lamborghini Urus Performante: The Super SUV, Sharpened

The standard Urus redefined what an SUV could be. The Performante is what happened when Sant’Agata decided that was not enough. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rises to 657 horsepower with 627 lb-ft of torque, the air suspension is replaced with lowered steel springs that drop the body and sharpen every response, weight comes down through carbon fiber body panels, and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust gives the V8 a voice the regular Urus only hints at. Zero to 62 mph takes 3.3 seconds on the way to 190 mph, and a dedicated Rally drive mode — a first for the Urus — lets the chassis slide on loose surfaces the way no 640-plus-horsepower SUV has any business doing. At its launch, the Performante set the production SUV record at Pikes Peak, a fact Car and Driver’s Urus coverage rightly treats as the model’s defining credential.

The example at Acton Auto Boutique is a 2023 Performante finished in Giallo Auge over a Nero Cosmus interior — the loud, correct, unmistakably Lamborghini specification — offered at $339,450. Performantes are allocated sparingly and rarely surface in New England at all; one sitting prepared and available on Great Rd is precisely the kind of car that makes this dealership worth watching.

Ferrari GTC4Lusso: The V12 Ferrari You Can Actually Use

The GTC4Lusso is one of the most quietly special Ferraris of the modern catalog: a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 681 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, wrapped in a shooting-brake body with four genuine seats and a usable luggage compartment. It pairs Ferrari’s 4RM all-wheel-drive system with rear-wheel steering, which means it puts its power down on a wet Massachusetts road with a confidence no rear-drive V12 can match — and still reaches 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and runs on to 208 mph. This is the Ferrari for the owner who refuses to choose between the twelve-cylinder soundtrack and a car that works in real life: school runs, ski trips, four adults to dinner, all of it accompanied by one of the great naturally aspirated engines ever built.

Production ended in 2020 with no direct successor — the Purosangue that followed is a different, far more expensive answer to the same question — which has left the GTC4Lusso as the last of the attainable four-seat V12 Ferraris. The market has noticed, and clean, well-specified examples have settled into genuinely collectible territory.

Ferrari FF: The One That Started It

Before the GTC4Lusso there was the FF — the car that broke two Ferrari precedents at once when it arrived in 2011. It was the first four-wheel-drive Ferrari in history, using the ingenious lightweight 4RM power take-off system, and the first true shooting brake the factory ever put into series production. The 6.3-liter V12 delivers 651 horsepower at 8,000 rpm through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, good for 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and a 208 mph top speed, while the Pininfarina-designed body encloses four real seats and the largest cargo area Ferrari had ever offered. Enthusiasts were divided at launch; time has been very kind. The FF now reads as one of the boldest and most usable Ferraris of its generation, and its position as the first of its line gives it a historical significance the market increasingly rewards.

Finding an FF and a GTC4Lusso under the same roof is rarer still — the two generations of Ferrari’s V12 family car, side by side, letting a buyer compare the original statement against its refined successor in a single visit. That is not an experience any franchise store in the region can offer.

Buying Rare Italian Metal the Right Way

Cars at this level demand a different standard of preparation and transparency, and the structure at Acton Auto Boutique is built for it. Every vehicle is offered with a published multi-point pre-purchase inspection report covering mechanical condition, exterior and interior assessment, and a documented road test. The on-site Acton Autowerks service facility — staffed by factory-trained Master Technicians with more than twenty years of experience — carries factory Lamborghini diagnostic equipment among its tooling for the major European marques, and the service department prepares and supports the exotic inventory with the same rigor it applies to everything else on the lot. Just as tellingly, the dealership welcomes independent pre-purchase inspections by any shop of the buyer’s choosing — the clearest signal a seller of six-figure machinery can send.

The practical side of an exotic purchase is handled in-house as well. Financing is arranged for New England buyers through the online finance application, extended warranty options are available, and nationwide shipping — open or enclosed — is arranged for buyers beyond driving distance. Owners with something special of their own to move can sell it to the dealership directly or use the consignment program, which is one of the ways cars like these keep arriving on the lot in the first place.

The Value Picture

Rarity has kept all three of these models on firm footing. Ferrari FF examples currently trade in the range of roughly $110,000 to $200,000 depending on mileage, specification, and history — extraordinary money for a 651-horsepower V12 Ferrari when set against what it cost new. GTC4Lusso values run higher, generally from about $160,000 to $240,000, with the strongest specifications and lowest mileages at the top of the band. The Urus Performante occupies its own tier: examples trade broadly in the low-to-mid $300,000s, and the model’s limited allocation has kept depreciation shallow. In every case, documentation and specification move individual cars significantly — which is exactly why buying from a dealer that curates for those qualities matters more here than anywhere else in the market.

See Them in Person

Sudbury to Acton is a fifteen-minute drive up Route 27 — close enough to make the visit before these cars find their next owners, because inventory at this level does not linger. Check the current inventory online for the latest Italian arrivals, then contact the team or call (978) 429-8913 to arrange a viewing or test drive. The showroom at 429 Great Rd, Acton, MA 01720 is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. The virtual test drive program is available for buyers who want to see a specific car in motion first — but with machinery like this, the visit is the point.
